Artwalk Gainesville
April 24: Numerous downtown venues, including galleries and art-minded businesses, open their doors for the free, self-guided tour. Hours are 7-10 p.m. (earlier at some venues). Pick up a brochure at participating venues. CANCELED
Santa Fe College Spring Arts Festival
March 28-29: More than 220 regional and national artists will display their works along tree-shaded Northeast 1st Street between Northeast 2nd and 8th avenues. There will also be live entertainment both days on an indoor stage at Actors’ Warehouse and next to City Hall. CANCELED
Jest Fest
April 5: An afternoon of free, family-friendly entertainment, featuring the World Famous Flying Wallendas and other comedy, variety and circus stars performing live on six stages in and around the Historic Thomas Center, 302 NE 6th Ave. CANCELLED
Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale
April 25-29: More than 500,000 books, posters, magazines, puzzles, games, artwork and more will be available during the five-day sale that takes place at the FOL Bookhouse, 430-B N. Main St. A Collectors’ Corner of rare books, first editions and Florida books takes place the first four days of the sale. Most items are priced between 25 cents and $4. On Tuesday, everything is half off. On Wednesday, all remaining items are 10 cents. For further info, visit the Friends of the Library Facebook page. POSTPONED
